Subject: corn silage

N FLA
I cant find info online. About how many pounds per day of corn silage to feed an 800 lb low BCS cow, trying to feed them through the fall/winter/spring to 1200 lbs. In terms of dry matter? I see info for an 1100 lb lactating cow with average milking ability, which is 17 lbs dm per day, plus 5 lbs of 12% mixed hay. Is lactation energy comparable to weight gain energy?
