| Walked some beans today, seeing pods that would definately be counted last week, dieing and falling off this week. Also seeing a lot more 2 and 3 bean pods versus more 3 and 4's last year. Not ready to hang my hat on the lower bean number yet, but I think the soy yield might disappoint when its all said and done.
The corn number will be sub 13 come January, no doubt in my mind, we are missing acres due to no plant, poor stands and drowned out areas, too much heat too quick pushed things, N loss, all translating into less kernals and smaller kernals. | |
