Lenawee Co Michigan | I have a 5,000 gallon cistern in the cellar filled with rainwater from the roof. I haven't cleaned it in 10 years and it's probably due. The water is still quite clean though. The dirt, bird chit and leaves that come in with the water tend to settle to the bottom and the water drawn out of it looks good.
Next cleaning time I'm going to have a vacuum septic truck suck the mung off the bottom instead of shoveling. | |
