We just put up some continuous fence around our barnyard for my wife's hay burners. I had the same thoughts and questions about the posts. I ended up putting the posts on the outside. Less chance the horses will push on them and for safety of riders in the corral. I agree that it looks nicer and easier to mow if posts are on the inside.
