I'm not selling everything at 4.50 just another %.
Hard not to sell $4 right out of the field. One can make alot of improvements to overall cashflow with over $800 gross per acre.I guess it depends on ones goals.
I know farmers that haven't sold any new crop yet and still have lots of old crop. In my opinion they are VERYlucky to get this move in the market. It could have went the other way just as easy and then where would they have been??
I feel very good about my new crop sales so far. I don't have to sell on a wide basis now and have enough storage for the unsold to wait out the basis and wait for better carry and or higher prices. | |
