Hoxie, KS, Northwest Kansas | I am going out locking in my fertilizer and additional inputs and selling the output (the grain) at a profit that i like. I will then roll my hedges into the may and july and pick up the carry in the board and get the basis narrow. So by the time its all said and done I will have some 4.50 dec sold rolled into the july for .30 and get close to even money at the bin giving me 4.70-4.80 cash in july '12 at the bin depending on basis. In my books I will grow corn for that. |
