Mine too! I'm just amazed at all the talk about what a nice summer it has been by the 2 services I pay money to for my own amusement. Every day the comments are, another beautiful week coming up with "a little" above average temperatures and average rain. My local paper says today that growing degree days are 2388 compared to a normal of 1676. So my question is how in the world has it been such a beautiful summer? We are nothing like the terrible drought years, but we certainly aren't normally combining corn by Labor day either. I don't think you will be able to find wet corn "here" by mid September. We have recorded less than 2.5" here since June 21st and if you go 10 miles south I believe they are under an inch.
