South Central Kansas, Harper County | In South Central Kansas we have had a string of 100 degree PLUS temperatures for over a week, with another week of 100 degree temps forecast for this week. Quite a few beans planted in this area the past couple of years(instead of wheat), a large percentage of them are really "brown" and "toasty" now! :-( Not enough beans to effect the market, but enough poor beans to effect the local economy! |
