Subject: RE: VR3 issues

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I have not had those kinks of issues with my first VR3 MP3 players. I have "lost" power occasionally when I have been advancing to new songs. The unit then starts over from scratch with the first song and I need to reset the station.

I can't fault your operating techniques as they seem correct to me. If you have your sales slip, you could take it back to W-M and exchange it for another. Maybe you got a faulty unit.

If you have been following my discussion with the VRFM9 unit, you will notice that I have had some issues with this model (three different tries). The very first time I tried the first one, I did get some static and a slight amount of noise from the first jumpdrive. This is somewhat akin to what you had observed. After that no jumpdrives worked but SD cards were always reliable.
