New Mexico | S, SE, E Coast and NE have drought problems. ( fringe area corn...but ALL the fringe areas do add up to approx 1/4 to 1/3 of the total crop ).
Some of places like IL, IN and OH have drouth problems ( 5 to 10 counties each )
Other fairly significant areas of especially IL and IA have Drown out/Wet problems ( 20 to 30 counties each ).
Northern 1/3 of MO is drown out ( a fair sized fringe production State volume wise ).
Some previous good production areas of NE, Drown out.
A bunch of E So Dak has basically reverted back to the Lake/Pothole country it always was.
Some folks there did not get last years crop out...soo it's basically "over."
Granted just another fringe area.
I highly doubt the supposed great corn ( or beans ) on hills, or on sand, or in places like Western Nebraska, or Western Dakota, Colorado is going to be good enough to even come close to predicted supposed trendline yields.
Your Sand so to speak just ain't good enough.
