Enough people lose their jobs (how many does it take?) demand for just about everything surely must drop some, effect of possibly causing raw materials to sit on producers' shelves possibly causing the producers to slash price till it moves (need cash eventually). This is the deflation thing I feel might come about, but just like you say, too many black swans (vultures) circling looking for a landing field to predict much of anything.
I remember the last inflation binge, my corn and beans were not part of that bandwagon that the interest I paid was. Farmland also ran into a huge deflationary bust during that period.
Maybe the opposite this time? who knows.. More interesting to watch from a zero debt position this time anyhow. | |
