Effingham, IL | I'm so frustrated paying $170/ton for Kansas hay and getting crap! The last load was supposed to be good and the test came back at 137 RFV. I politely called the hay broker, he thanked me for calling and said he would check into it. This is the third load from this broker, since the last one was failing on quality. I've bought from many over the years and no one can consistantly deliver good hay. I've told them all I'd be willing to pay more for quality. I'm 49 years old and convinced no matter where I order another load it will be the luck of the draw. I milk cows to make money not because it's fun. Sorry for the rant! Craig | |
