I'm assuming your spring season is say 44 to 90 days, then pull him and he's got say 45 to 90 days to rest/ build back up...then on to fall cows for say 44 to 90 days.
Run a semen test on him before turning in with fall cows.
Late summer or fall is a Good time to buy bull prospects because the spring competition is out of the market then.
