Interesting. We had over 100" of snow and several inches of rain this spring, probably 8 or so. We have some square stacks that had snow drifts on them and you can see in the bales where they started to burn a little. Never seen it happen that fast before. On the other hand I have baled and stacked hay way to wet and never had an issue but none of it was alfalfa either.
Bales heating....really heating.
