West Texas | Not being the sensitive type, I never thought to send flowers to my wife. Heck, she has a yard full all the time. However on our 20th Anniversary I had a brainstorm and stopped at a florist. Told the lady I needed some flowers and she asked what kind. UH OH. Didn't have any idea so I said some pretty ones for my wife. Took them home and my daughter was home from college. They both started crying and I said right then that I would never make that mistake again. Since then, I was informed that those were happy tears. We celebrated our 40th last May and while I will take her to the nurseries and buy whatever she picks out, I'll leave the selections to her. | |
