Personally, I would prefer that he didn't get me cut flowers. Now, if he would go and buy me flowers to plant in the spring I'd really like that . I got roses for my 25th. He brought them down to the church basement to the afterschool church program where I am dinner dean. The kids were really impressed. Of course his mother and his father got the flowers for him and told him to do it. Not a romantic bone left in his body.
