Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | I use Tracfone and have only two marginal service towers ,15-20 miles,one west and one north of my farm. When my phone locks on the west tower, it charges roaming charges at 2 X the price. never see a roaming charge on the north tower. The west tower owners claim they have so little use that they need the 2 X charges to pay the bills. I am just glad to have emergence service,even at 2 X the price. They put up a new tower this winter, only 7 miles south of me, I do not get a signal from it, so either it is not yet in operation, or it does not allow Tracfone to use it. |
