southern MN
Must be the cold weather up here in MN?

I have a mix of turnips, clover, alfalfa plowdown planted with my oats, so the light oat seed regrows after oat & straw harvest.

Gives the cattle quite a mix of things to eat along with grassy field roads, and in fall cornstalks.

But, it's only 10 acres or so of the turnips out of a 40 acre field of grazing.
