My Brother runs Wild Blue and he also had a train wreck with McAfee. Norton didn't go much better.
I had him try ZoneAlarm
(www.zonealarm.com
) as I have been using one of their firewalls for about a year and a half with good results.
Seemed to do the trick for him.
