North Mo. | If you are going to water cattle this summer over 1500 ft. from the pasture by hauling water I would forget it just too much work for the rewards. To get good even grazing try to keep water less than 1500 ft. from grass. That far away all cattle will come at the same time and almost all cattle will leave at the same time. It will be herd mentality and will over tax the system. And yes it will take 25 plus gal. per pair and going up as calf gets larger. Sorry to be so discouraging. | |
