After those last storms in southern alberta there are stories of dead calves and even a few cows. With alot of producers putting back there calving this spring may have reduced the calves for fall and may send more cows to town this summer. The better dry cows aren't quite bringing a 1000. dollars on our place but the poorer we sell later may be way less.
