south central IOWA | We did about 1500 sq ft of hog slats in one lot that always pond up, with just 1 line of 4" tile under it. The slats don't move or shift around unless you're careless with the skidloader when cleaning out the lot cause you might catch the edge of one. There is still 200' of tile not covered by the slats in the lot and still runs water after 3 years. The tile is about 2 to 3 ft deep. The slats we got were $30 apiece because of a bankruptcy deal. | |
