Subject: A family story about a dairy bull.

Little River, TX
The story setting was in the mid 1920's.
My Grandfather had a man killing bull.
To handle him took two strong men, with chains and a poles attached to the ring in his nose.

My auntie maybe 5 years old at the time, would ride him like a horse and could lead him anywhere on the farm with a ribbon tied to the ring in his nose.

If she ever let go of the string everyone went up a tree.

Grandfather sold him by the hanging pound to the local butcher.

True or not it was enjoyed by all, every time it was told. They are all gone now & I am the only one left who tellw the story, and that is from Hear Say.
