Macon, MO
We have been feeding it for years now out of Macon's plant to feeders. When they are on grass we just give them a couple pounds a day. I know alot of people up here get the syrup for their cow/calf operation I'm sure ladonnia has the same thing. They take the syrup and pour into the bales and also dump into the tubs that they bought with for licks. To get DDG's and wet DG's you have to call Dakota Gold Marketing 1-888-327-8799 ext. 12228 that goes to the rep for MO to get a load out number you can't just walk in a get a load, I don't know if that applies to the syrup to or not. As far as equipment we have a old feed truck we use but some haul it in a old gravity flow wagon and use 5-gallon buckets and dump in the troughs, I can't remember how many lbs a buckets holds. Go by your extension office or look online they have lots of info on this as far as rations for different operations.
