NCMO | Yesterday i was ready to Haul every cow I have to town. It was 1 of them day's when nothing goes the way you want it to. But my wife knew I was blowing smoke. She said You will never quit having cattle around so shut that up. I started smiling. I started sorting The Hfrs again and things started going right. So I went to see if I could find the cow that was having trouble calving. This is where the day started going south trying to get the cow in the lot with the chute. She jumped 2 fences and tried to take me and the 4whlr. She won. But I let her calm down, went to check her an hr later and I had a big bull calf. Today he was up following his mom through the snow. City people would say why do you do this? I would say, see that calf in the snow? How would you not want to do this? It might have been a bad day but seeing them calves makes it all worth it to me! | |
