Thanks again Philbert. Everything fit together nicely. I know what you ment about the cable being as thick as your thumb. It's not quite that thick but it sure is stiff. Connection on the other computer is just as fast as on the wired desktop at the router. Should have seen the smile on my dad's face when he saw the speed he could surf at. Best of all, his phone line is finally not busy anymore. One thing I didn't know, is that you needed to run XP Pro in order to run remote desktop. At least that is what the tech from linksys said. Had trouble with the Access Point and the firewall on the Desktop, but we got it resolved. If I remember corectly, we set the security to WES which I thought was not right. What do you think?
