Eastern Ontario | Finally ordered my router and access point along with the antennas to set up my WiFi in order to share an internet connection between two houses. The computer on the access point side doesn't have the plug for the network cable. Guess I'm missing a card. I have seen some cards by linksys which look like they belong inside a computer. These have little antennas on them. Would it have been possible to install one of these cards and hook up the outdoor patch antenna directly to the card instead of putting the access point in between. Not sure what I'm looking for here. Which type of card do I need?
