Kittitas Co. Wa. State

I watched.. (did keep a paper sack close in case Couric got too out of control,)  The hoopla was glossed over about the costs in Finland (?)  She failed to mention how much the government was helping ($$$-subsidizing) the farmers for not using any health measures. (lmao,, at the hog confinement.. Bet HSUS and PETA were flaming!!

Couric also skipped over the individual farmers losses that increases the overall cost with out a higher payment for live animals. The "farmers" she was touting appeared to me to be "contractors" who buy from individual normal farmers.

Couric was as usual disingenuious about the "factory farming" krap.. She was trying everyway she could to make confinement buildings appear as "factory Farms".. In truth I believe they were individual farmers and Couric lacked the  "stones" to actually tell the truth to people.

The whole argument about what the EU countries are doing is the residual knee jerk from the whole BSE situation of a few years ago. So,, they are playing pretty loose with their idea of Facts.
