Winter 1967-68 was first year for Mackey action. I was there for the first game (I was a freshman) in the pep band. Wooden was a former Purdue "All American" recognized that evening. Everytime I saw Rick Mount try to dribble the ball down court he lost it. But he could shoot the ball if someone gave it to him.
