| I remember watching Herm Gillum play when they were still playing in the ols gym before Mackey was built / finished. Probably about 1967 as that was my brother's fresman year at Purdue and I went to several games with him. In pregame someone put a $5 bill on top of the backboard & he jumped up & took it off. Man could that guy really jump. I doubt if the NCAA would approve that today :~))
