Barcodes are "controlled" by an international agency, I can't recall the exact name, but I have a folder in the basement with this info. A US company would apply for a specific number, but it doesn't mean squat about identifying where the product was actually made. I was unaware the leading digit identifies the company's country, in fact I'm kinda sure it can't be. But I have to go run an errand.... | |
