Great photos! We are 35 miles from the Mississippi River and see them frequently. Had one in the tree in the front yard one winter morning. Couldn't figure why he was there so long until I walked from the barn to the house. Barn cats sunning themselves in front of the barn had caught his attention. He was sure eye-balling those cats.
