NW Washington | We have been using the ATT Go Phone for several years and I buy the $100 for a years time. Cost a $1 per day plus $.10 a minute if you use the phone. I never run out of minutes, the calendar is what usually gets me. You can buy whatever phone you want from a plain basic to one with many features, it just cost more money.
My wife got a new phone the other day that will take pictures and let her do text. But text cost you a flat $20 per month. ATT uses a SIM card which is easy to switch from one phone to the next and it saves all your contacts.
Verizon always gets top marks for service from places like Consumer Report. Much better than ATT for that matter.
Places like Best Buy and Radio Shack offer several brands of pre-paid cell phone and the costs are all pretty close for all of them. | |
