Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | I only use a cell phone for on road and emergency use, so only use about 30 minutes per year.. I have had trackfone prepaid for years, but service always was poor and now almost non existant. Apparently they have use of very few towers in the area.
This is darn frustrating when Verizon has my state so well covered and I have a verizon tower, line of sight at 7 miles away.
Looking at verizon's prepaid plans, the prepaid basic looks like I have to buy my Verizon phone then buy the time. The Verizon site shows that buying $100 worth of time / service gets me 1 year of service and 400 minutes.
That is very comparable to Tracfone except that I have to buy the phone for the Verizon setup.
Sounds like I can also have a camera phone with Verizon, while Tracfone would not allow me to have one, saying they had no tower service for the camera phone system.
Sounds like Verizon plans are quite new, likely to compete with other prepaid outfits like Tracfone.
Anyone got anything good / bad to say about Verizon perpaid basic plan ?
