Mechanicville, NY | this is a very common set up in Japan and Korea and has been for many years. i used to live in both places. The only difference is - some times the commode is separate in another small room adjoining and there is a very deep soaking tub near the shower area for those who wish to do so. personally, i like the commmode being separate. in the pic above the commode is way too close to the shower. the TP will just get soaked.
also the sink, walls and floor can get as wet as you like and there is no bother. a waterproof cabinet at the other side of the room holds towels etc. | |
