I would take plate steel [1/2] with four holes around a 1.5-2 inch pipe vertical pipe.. Drill 4 holes in side walk to fit pattern on plate. Insert concrete expansion bolts through plate. Mail box has to be certain height according to post office regs. Mail box has to form to reg also. Box on top of pipe may direct on or design to be over curb so mail could be inserted from vehicle.
You could shim plate to get pipe staight. Also a pipe coupler on bottom or top to allow box to swing or remove. | |
