In big cities people don't know, don't bother to know, don't even care to know their neighbors.  I've got friends who have lived in the same house for 9 years and still don't even know their next door neighbors. I find that amazing... (but that's probably just me)

On the other hand,, smaller towns, or coffee shops, everybody's got an opinion (which we all know what compares to opinions) and people gossip as a form of entertainment. In some area's it would qualify for an Olympic Event !  LMAO !!!

Two thoughts,, 

 Big minds talk about issues and concepts, small minds talk about people.
