.....I understand, the bodies needed to be buried quickly. My question is this. When notifying kin, were they given a location of the grave? Also, were they given the option of having the remains exhumed, and brought home for reburial near family?

 Just curious. These thoughts popped into my head as I was looking at all the foreign graves.

I have to confess, I never knew it was that many. Powerful stuff!
