Kingston,Mi | Great video, will save the link. In my line of work, NRCS Civil Engineering Tech, I am often ask to design something that is overly complex. I have commented to the District Conservationist involved that this is "Rube Goldberg inspired" and get blank looks fom nearly everyone less than 60 years old. Finally went to website for engineers and downloaded some examples. Most are still clueless as to why simple is always better than complex. All to often the salesman at some equipment/solutions dealer has it in mind that if you continue to install their increasing expensive and complex dohicky will make a simple problem just go away. Blue silo syndrome or sand seperators that use water to seperate sand from manure are 2 examples. | |
