NC Kansas | I take care of the toys at a JD dealer and what you are told is true- no 1/16th scale combines. We get more requests for 1/16th combines and graincarts than anything else. I bet we could have sold 20 - 1/32nd graincarts, but they have been discountinued. Ertl/Deere does have the 1/25th scale "combine". It has the Maximizer shape but no number designation of size.
The 1/64th scale has the most model availability. There are 7000 and 8000 series tractors in the 1/64th that come with decals to "make the model you need", but they don't offer that in the combines. We had a case of J&M 1/64th graincarts Dec. 1st and we have 1 now. They were really popular like the combines.
There are a lot of series in the toys, esp. in the 1/16th scale; Dealer Edition, Collector Edition, Precision Series, Gold Key Series, Heritage and Prestige. I know I must have missed one also. Which one is the most popular? It seems price is a big factor for most that buy toys.
