Near Richmond, IN | Did about the same thing. I was crossing the creek with our combine with 20' grain head on it and the head bottomed out on the bank on the other side---creek a little deeper there than I thought. Had to wade through the creek to dry ground and go get dad to come pull me out. He never ever said anything bad about the things I did like that, just always came and helped. Now he's gone so enjoy yours while you can then you'll always have good memories. I just hope I can do the same things for my stepson and grandson so they'll have good memories too. But if it had been reversed I probably would have taken some pictures of it so I could pick on him about it :-) | |
