Blues City Cafe on the west end of Beale is awesome BBQ. I recommend a plate of ribs! Everyone talks about the Rendezvous, but I'm not real impressed with them. Beale street is downtown and in a pretty good spot. The street is blocked off and guarded. BCC is opened for lunch and dinner. If you make it for dinner I also suggest either Rum Boogie which is at the other end and BB kings which is across the street. Might as well get the music to go with the BBQ!
