Post master explained that the pre paid postage is not collected un less the mail is scanned and mailed .
Also one of the pre pays with no return address will be sent postage due if they are over weight . also if they are too thick , additional fees .
not nice but it is cheap entertainment for kids and old people .
Years back when my 40 something daughter was living @ home , I would give her all the "important mail"
She loved getting it , writing letters in her 3rd grade best cursive handwriting posting it off .
One winter It was a colder than usual and I made the off hand remark we would have to burn the "important mail " to keep warm . "Oh no "she said " I will just ask that they send more ! "
So she wrote letters to the pre paid people requesting more Junk mail to heat our home .
Never got a reply .
Her kids carry on the tradition . :>)
