missouri | That is Cora island down by the point. 1,000-1,200 acres, conservation groups bought it from the family that owned it last year. They moved up in IL, a local farmer farms it now but rumored that the conservation people want to tear down the leeves and let it grow up in trees, brush and native grass. (natural) This farm gets alot of seep water and the dike that is used to get to the island goes under when the river is high. | |
