Elkhart, Illinois | Yep, Springfield is approx. 65 miles closer. SPFLD is the biggest town we go to most often. What are you wanting to look around for? I can provide good restaurant choices in SPFLD....they do have one of them places that brags about their wings..........garsh, can't remember the name of that place....hmmmmmmm
Although, depending on your age, you may enjoy trolling the bars in Bloomington/Normal (Illinois State University)
Assuming you are flying solo, plan to get to STL at noon-1PM on Friday. I will join you for dinner in St. Louis at a place that will embarass Hooters
