roaming | I've had very few problems with importing data. The fact that the Terraserver download locks up your computer would seem to indicate that you're either trying to download too much info, or that your computer doesn't have enough RAM to handle the load. Is it an older machine, by any chance?
BTW, Terraserver is satellite imagery only (no soil data or other info).
When you tried to import the SSURGO data, did you make sure you selected the correct datum and projection?
Current version is still 5.52, though I'm told 6.5 should be released any time. | |
