SW Iowa | Hi guys I,m new here. I would like to say this forum looks like a great resource. I am also trying to reach my steel shop building (250 ft. from my router) with wireless. I bought a Belkin pre-N router. It will reach into my shop if a leave the walk door open. That doesn't work in January. Do I need an access point in addition to my router in order to attach an antenna? Will an antenna likely reach into the shop building? I'm also worried compatibility with the Belkin router. I bought it because of it's long range hoping it would work buy it's self. No such luck. Any help would be appreciated.
