the key to good battery life is not to leave the laptop pluged in while the battery is fully charged. People who leave their laptops pluged in on their desks find that their batteries dont last very long at all after only a year of use. Also battery life is related to usage, they only have so many charge cycles. The biggest key tho is not leaving it plugged in.
