Sorry to hear about this case. After praying, get on the internet and start researching. Now more than ever, you need to be an informed patient. I would advise checking out the major medical centers (Mayo, Univ. of Michigan, etc) to find get the names of their top Oncologists. Don't be afraid to contact these folks. The people who do Oncology are special people and are the type to help you. You can also check out www.clinicaltrials.gov for studies.

On a sad note, the Insurance Companies and Washington dictate to the drug companies what new Oncology products they will allow to be available. In the last 3 years they have reduced it to just a very few (new drugs are expensive). Under O-care, the number of Oncologist will be significantly reduced (fewer Oncologists saves money NOT lives).
