Figure a day for the Museum of Flight. Reports a couple years ago were that the Boeing factory tour was on the disappointing side compared to the Museum of Flight.

The Space needle is nice and touristy, but the views from the observation deck of the Columbia Center are more spectacular since its twice as high as the Space needle and the day I was there in August 2008 there was more than an hour in line to ride the elevator up the space needle and there were maybe 8 people total at the Columbia Center enclosed observation deck. Space Needle senior price was $16, Columbia Center was $3 and during the day bus fair was free, riding the monorail wasn't. It practically took all morning to to the monorail and the space needle, and with lunch at Pike Place in bits and pieces, I also did the Columbia Center and the old part of town (where the underground tour is) before hiking a couple blocks to the train station by 4 PM.

E.g. the space needle is OK, but time consuming and relatively expensive.
